On October 20, 2023, the St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic School Advisory Council, headed by Mr. Tom Dougherty, did an Empactful Day of Service at STA. The advisory council was joined by Empactful Capital represented by Senior Director Tim Roe and some of its team members. The group chose to help STA for their day of service. They were welcomed by our Student Ambassadors and both guests and students had the opportunity to socialize and get to know one another while working together to do a day of service.
The group painted the walls of the gymnasium and our schoolyard. We, at STA, are always grateful to everyone who shares their time, talent, and treasure with us. This beautification effort, through our advisory council’s contribution of their talent and time, hopes to improve the student life at STA and uplift the mindsets of our students and families. When they play or walk around the gymnasium and schoolyard, they can feel a sense of welcome and pride.
The STA Advisory Council provides vital help in getting the word out about the wonderful things that our school does for our young students and their families. They are our bridge to organizations, companies, and individuals who will support and invest in our mission to provide a transformative Catholic education that develops students intellectually, emotionally, and spiritually.
