Families Behind the Badge Children’s Foundation, Police Youth Alliance and 17th Police District joined Ms. Jones’ Kindergarten class to decorate Gingerbread houses. FBBCF Executive Director Mark O’Connor and 17th PD Chief Insp. Matt Gillespie donned elf aprons with their colleagues to help our Kindergarten scholars create Gingerbread house masterpieces.
The event was followed by a luncheon for members of FBBCF, 17th PD, St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church Pastor (Fr. Dominic), and STA teachers and staff. Principal McCloskey presented Mr. O’Connor with a gift from STA for the strong partnership between our school and his organization.
